昨日に引き続き、離乳食の準備編。
実際に食べる段になり、用意した娘まわりのアイテムたち。↑これだけ。

食事はカタチから
離乳食の1日目は、小さじ１杯。ほんとに小さな小さな一口である。
そんな汚れないから、まだエプロンなんて早いんじゃない？と思ったが、「これから食事が始まる」ということを認識させるために、『いただきます』をしたり、エプロンをつけたり、毎日同じことをするとよい、と聞いたので、さっそく実践。
「いただきます」はポカンとしていたが、エプロンをつけると、「何が始まるの？」とちょっと目をキラキラさせた。いいね。こちらもやる気が出る。
「食べのいい」離乳食スプーンとの出会い
↑の写真の3点セット。実は友人からの出産祝い。
「ののじ」というブランドのもので、グッドデザイン賞なんかも受賞している。親がとてもすくいやすく、食べさせやすい。そして娘も一口目からペロリと食べてくれた。
この道具というのが、「食べ」の具合で重要になる赤ちゃんもいるようだ。
友人のお子さんはプラスチックと金属がダメで、木のスプーンがいいらしい。そんな小さなうちから食感なんて関係あるの！？と驚きだが、母乳やミルクしか飲んでこなかった赤ちゃんにとっては、一大事なのかもしれない。
想像以上に汚れる
昔、子どもを持つ前は、友人がお子さんに離乳食をあげる場面を見て、「なんでもっとキレイに食べられないんだろ」と思っていたが、甘かった。
いくら食べさせやすいスプーンを使っていてもこぼすときはこぼすし、口に手を突っ込むし、ガッシャーンするし。とにかくすぐ汚れる。
はじめのうちは、メイドインジャパンのガーゼのハンカチで…とやっていたが、追いつかない。拭ける面積がすぐなくなるし、洗うのめんどくさいし。拭きとってポイの方が断然ラク。生後11ヶ月になる今は、初期よりもさらに大活躍している。
ストローの練習をさっそく
先輩ママが「ストローは早めに慣れさせておいた方がいいよ」と言っていた。
おすすめされたのが、リッチェルの「いきなりストローマグ」。
フタについている『PUSH』マークを押すと、ピュッと飲み物が出てくる仕組み。
（紙パックを押すとピュッとでてくるのといっしょ。）
「ここから飲み物が出てくる」というのを学習できるのだ。
もちろん最初は警戒して口にも入れなかったり、なかなかストローをくわえてくれなかったりするが、食事のたびに持たせていると、そのうちできるようになる。
母乳・ミルク以外の飲み物の摂取はいずれ必要になってくるので、早めに用意することをおすすめする。
これは後から知ったのだが、コップ本体は1つで、哺乳瓶乳首、ストロー、スパウトと「口」を付け替えられるタイプのものもあるようだ。
友人が持っていたのだが、「え、それめっちゃ便利やん！」とちょっと感動した。
で、かんじんの離乳食は？
娘が起きたのでまた後日。
